Our Values
Devotion To God - Pūmau ki te Atua
To His son Jesus Christ, His Spirit and His word. Our whole lives are a living sacrifice of worship to our holy God. We invite His Spirit to flow into every part of us and change us into His likeness. Worship and prayer permeate every part of our church and all glory goes to Him alone. Our devotion leads us to becoming more Christ like and motivated for action as we serve him wholeheartedly and faithfully.

A Loving Community - He Hapori Aroha
We are a faithful body of Christ, united in Him and each using our gifts to build a loving and caring community. We know that through our unity, God’s love is demonstrated to the world. We celebrate our diversity and in humility we share our lives together as we serve, encourage, love and learn from one another.
“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us” 1 John 4:12
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
“...so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us” Romans 12:5
Growing Disciples - Whakatupu ākonga
Growth comes as we learn, listen and obey. We are committed to seeing each person, from the youngest to the oldest, becoming obedient followers of Jesus as we grow in our love for and knowledge of Him. Individually and together we study God’s word, pray and seek His kingdom first in our lives. We pray for the fruits of His Spirit to become more and more evident in our lives as we grow in Him.
“If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” Matthew 16:24
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” Matthew 6:33

God’s heart for the poor and needy shapes our generosity. We selflessly give of our time and resources to stand for justice and to show mercy, compassion, and kindness to those in our church and society who are struggling. We seek out and put the needs of others first, wisely using our talents and resources to strengthen mercy in our church.
